Urukhai Horde

Been pretty busy with work this past week. Had a rush job for 4 storyboard frames (4x5 full color renderings) with less than 2 hrs to finish. Sometimes that kind of deadline can be inspiring. With no time to pencil the frames out, I just threw down the colors I thought would work and then tightened it up with colored pencil and paint.

So, today for fun, I thought I'd try the same aproach for this pic. Kind of " sprint rendering" I guess. No pencil. Just throwing down color and hoping something jumps out at me.

Marker rendering took about 45 mins.
Photoshop 30 mins.
