This painting is amazing. I'm practicing with gouache as my medium of choice for my portfolio, and I came across this image and frequently use it as a reference to study from when practicing my technique. The only thing I can't figure out is how you get that super shiny glowing highlight. I don't even see any brush strokes, and I'm wondering if you went into photoshop to achieve that effect. If not, can you pleeease describe how you did it? I really really want to do stuff that's this bad-ass.
