This is a custom maquette (non-transforming figure) I built of a Transformers Movie style Autobot Hound. Made using a modified Bionicle & Neo Shifter skeleton and a 1/24 scale Hasegawa WWII Willys Jeep model kit. The kit was carefully cut up into a couple hundred pieces and attached to the skeleton. The head was built using bits from multiple sources, including Legos, Gundam, TF/Marvel Crossover Hulk, Microman, styrene, etched brass and some sculpting using white stuff compound.

Painted the entire figure. Base coat is Tamiya Olive Drab 2. Used acrylics and enamels for the detail painting. Also custom cut & applied the Jeep kit's decals. Autobot symbol is from reprolabels.

Stands 8.5 inches tall and has at least 18 points of articulation.

Thanks for taking a look and for any comments you might like to share.

This is excellent work. What I find interesting is the face--its still robotic but closer to the G1 than the bayverse. You used a lot of different material and it still looks uniform and like it could truly transform into a jeep. Excellent work.

Gorgeous work, Tim. It's a real pity you didn't end up working on the Movies, because...well, need I say it, really? Because. :D
